Ethnic Stereotypes
Tuesday, June 30th, 2015 | Author:

Given the focus of this web site, it is only natural to link to this blog posting:

Racist and ethnic stereotypes often arise from common fears of the unknown, with variations on a theme playing out in different ways and contexts throughout history. They are often supported by confirmation bias, a logical fallacy by which people tend to look for information that confirms their current beliefs and discount or ignore evidence to the contrary.

Confederate Flags Bad… Nazi Flags Good
Monday, June 29th, 2015 | Author:

This is typical overplayed reaction…

Online retail giant Amazon’s Monday decision to ban the sale of merchandise depicting the Confederate flag has many Americans scratching their heads, as a quick review of Amazon’s site reveals the company still sells Nazi flags.

Liberalism and Judaism
Saturday, June 27th, 2015 | Author:

A thought-provoking article about Jews that embrace modern liberalism do not remain as Jews:

Take the influential Anti-Defamation League, a group that endlessly peddles grievances (for all Jews, whether we pay dues or not) under the idea of Tikun Olam – which roughly translated means “healing the world”. Tikun Olam is humanity’s shared responsibility to repair and transform. It’s an obscure wide-ranging directive from God that’s used as a cudgel by the Jewish Left to convert political causes into religious ones. Abortion, the welfare state, redistribution, social justice, worrying about Evangelical plots to convert your children  — any progressive cause you can imagine — is a vital Jewish concern at your local Reform temple.

It’s Now SCOTUSCare

This convoluted logic has become a sign of our times… Judges adjusting legislation from the bench:

“…the context and structure of the act compel us to depart from what would otherwise be the most natural reading of the pertinent statutory phrase.”

Facts and Logic Don’t Matter Anymore
Thursday, June 25th, 2015 | Author:

It’s difficult to argue with this reasoning:

As a proponent of “facts” and “reason”, I wish these virtues held currency in 21st century America — they don’t.‎ Mobilizing people to the fight is the order of the day. We err in thinking that we can “reason” our way to compromise — we can’t. The Left are hell-bent on advancing their agenda. They long ago abandoned “facts” and “reason” and are pushing forward. The Left has tapped into “emotion”, particularly envy and resentment. They have brilliantly “sold” the premise that they are working to settle the score. Social justice isn’t justice, but to the aggrieved constituent, it is enough.

Everyone Questions the Iran Deal
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015 | Author:

When you observe the events that have transpired through the so-called negotiations, you’re forced to ponder “Why in the world is Obama pushing for this ridiculously one-sided deal with Iran?”  The US and the world is receiving nothing of any value in return.

Politicians and experts from across the political spectrum are calling into question the proposed nuclear agreement with Iran. The two primary issues – verifiability and the possibility of military dimensions (PMD) of the Iranian nuclear program – threaten to derail the agreement.

Source: Dems, Republicans & Experts Question Terms of Iran Deal

All the pundits are missing the most elementary reason for Obama to continue pushing for an ‘agreement’ — He is the Manchurian Marxist Moslem and he wants the Iranians to have nuclear weapons.   The appearance of negotiations is a ruse to hide his true intentions… heck, if Obama could send the Persians US-made ICBMs, he would do it.

This hidden agenda is the only plausible explanation for this charade.

Humor and Honesty
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015 | Author:

If you missed the kerfuffle with Jerry Seinfeld, you’ve missed an honest assessment of the current political environment:

Above all, he [Seinfeld] understands that the most essential element in his kind of comedy is precisely the one under such sustained attack today: honesty. It was key to the observational humor with which he established himself in the clubs and on late-night TV, and it drove his iconic show. No one on Seinfeld was especially nice or generous of spirit; corner-cutting and pettiness ran rampant. Yet the show’s characters, true to themselves even when (make that especially when) their behavior didn’t reflect well on themselves, inspired such affection because they were so recognizable, especially to the millions of young urbanities who formed its core audience.

Islamic Terrorists Entering the West
Monday, June 22nd, 2015 | Author:

Are you surprised?  We should give thanks to the Manchurian Marxist Moslem…

For over a year intelligence agencies have been warning Western governments that ISIL (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant) and other Islamic terror groups have been sending members along with refugees entering, often illegally, Europe and the West in general. Despite this risk the United States has been the major participant in this resettlement program for Moslem refugees. At the same time the U.S. refuse to accept most Syrian and Iraqi Christian refugees.
