Democrat Election Strategy
Thursday, June 27th, 2019 | Author:

This is an interesting summary description of the strategy behind most of the Democrats running for President:

You name it, and there’s a Democratic candidate out there offering to give it to people if they’d just vote for them. How is that not bribery?

Want free college? Done, just vote for candidate X, Y, or Z.

Want your student loans “forgiven”? You got it, just vote for one of the candidates promising just that.

Sick of paying for rent? Health insurance? Cable? Cell phones? Food? Housing? You can find a Democrat somewhere who’ll swear it’s all yours, and “for free,” if you simply mark their name on your ballot.

Visits to Iceland and Ireland
Thursday, June 20th, 2019 | Author:

We just returned from a feature-packed 10-day tour of Iceland and Ireland where we stayed at a different hotel/B&B every day.  Ironically, during our vacation the weather was better in those European countries than it was in Dayton, Ohio (go figure).

In Iceland, we took a boat tour of icebergs, walked behind waterfalls, and hiked a glacier (where they shot the movie Interstellar)…  In Ireland, we checked out multiple castles (kissed the Blarney stone), visited Catholic cathedrals, and observed the ocean cliffs.

Dayton Dragons Baseball

We attended our first Dragon’s baseball game this season on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.  Needless to say, all I have to do is attend one baseball game to quickly determine why I don’t attend many more.
