I’ve been observing how the Russians are slowly reverting to their mix of totalitarian, fascist, socialistic ways… Putin has been nationalizing industries that generate real revenue; the Russians support any rogue nation in an attempt to have some bargaining power at the “global table”; and the former Soviet intelligence apparatus is getting mixed into activities in the Middle East.
All of these are just leading indicators. The real telltale sign was announced a few days ago… ABC On-line reports that the communist symbol of the hammer and sickle is returning to the red flag of the Russian army.
