There was a slight rain delay during the afternoon, so for those of us attending the evening session, we had the opportunity to see a lot of great tennis… We saw Robbie Genepri come back to beat Mathieu, and James Blake played a patient game to beat the two-handed Santoro (a couple of quick photos appear below).
Perhaps most interesting for me was to see Vince Spadea playing his match on one of the side courts. If you’re a regular reader of my Blog, you may recall that I posted a commentary on his recent book Break Point. Thus, it was entertaining to be able to yell out between points “Who’s Afraid of Ya’ Spadea!”
