We just returned from a mini-vacation at the Marriott on South Beach… we hung out on the beach and spent the evenings at the very cosmopolitan Lincoln Park outdoor mall (English appears to be a minority language there). As you can see from the photo below, we had a fantastic room on the 9th floor (thanks to the Miss) that overlooked the ocean and the channel into Miami harbor. Thus, at 5:00pm every night we could sit on our balcony and watch the cruise ships heading out to sea just a stone’s-throw from our room.
