We attended the Dayton Gems hockey game Friday night at that palace of an arena (insert sarcastic grunt here) known as Hara… The Gems beat the visiting Arizona Sun Dogs, 4-3 on a shoot out.
The Gems have a much better team this year, with a good mix of big checking defensemen and smaller speedy wingers… The Gems play in a league known as the “Central Hockey League”. In reality, the CHL appears to cover the entire United States.
