When people tired of the label “liberals”, they decided to call themselves “progressives”. In the world of theology, they like to refer to themselves with the euphemism, “egalitarian”.
I was surprised to see that the Dayton Daily News reported on the fact that my congregation (Beth Jacob) rejected the proposed merger with egalitatrian congregation at Beth Abraham.
