A stark contrast between viewpoints… On Monday, Kofi Annan held forth on his favorite topic: what he sees as America’s offenses against human rights and the rule of law. Annan likes to assign the world’s ills to Washington. Of course, the only logical alternative topic for his farewell address would have been his utterly ineffectual decade as UN secretary-general.

Very good article summarizing his time at the UN. Good bye, good bye we must all say! The UN’s accomplished big adjectives, a lot of horse slanging, and a bunch of BS. They’ve failed at Darfur, Rwanda, etc. Peace keeping forces and all the other jazz really makes me ill. Icky.
