Bear and I stayed up to watch the San Antonio Spurs sweep the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA finals. It was great watching the game on HDTV. We could finally figure out the wording of the tattoos on Lebron’s arms.
The Spurs are a great example of team play and experienced players leading the way to championships. They have 8 players older than 30 years of age, and they are a mini-United Nations with players from all around the world. With players such as Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, Horry, etc., they have a classy team. In many ways, they are a throwback to classic NBA champions such as the Boston Celtics who had class players such as Bird, McHale, Parrish, Ainge, etc.
The 2006-2007 basketball season is now officially over.
