My family and I first ate at Flemings Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2002… It’s an expensive restaurant, but we really loved the steaks and the speciality side dishes. I’ve subsequently eaten at Flemings in the Phoenix area five or six times over the last few years during my frequent business trips to the Arizona desert.
Well, I have to admit that we were very surprised when we discovered that Flemings (a small chain with less than 40 restaurants across the US) was opening a restaurant in Dayton (at the Greene)… We went for our first visit Saturday night. We started our dinner by drinking a Pinot Gris from the Sokol Blosser vineyards (the winery is located in Dayton, Oregon!), and followed with the filet mignon and side dishes of the Flemings potatoes and sauteed mushrooms.
Missy is still raving about the quality of the dinner…
