We just returned from a 4-day vacation at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas…  It was beautiful, but it’s awfully hot and humid there in June.

Missy and I went back recently to Carriage Hill to check out the farm from the 1800s..

Missy and I visited Carriage Hill Farms in Huber Heights.  Unfortunately, we arrived after most of the farm exhibits closed so we were only able to take a hike around Cedar Pond.  

Missy and I visited Carillon Park on Sunday and toured the various sites associated with the history of Dayton, Ohio.  We observed the techniques used on the Linotype printing machines; we saw the old rail cars made by Barney &

Missy and I visited Cox Arboretum Metropark in south Dayton, where we toured the butterfly house and the cedar tree tower.  A few nice photos below.

A visit to Englewood Metropark, where our sons learned to feed the wild geese when they were youngsters growing up… A nice photo of mom and the two sons.
