On Saturday afternoon, the entire family watched on television as the Dayton Flyers beat the 11th ranked Louisville Cardinals, 70 – 65. Saturday night, Bear and I went to the Nutt House to watch the Wright State Raiders upset the 13th ranked Butler Bulldogs 43 – 42.
At the beginning of the game, Bear reminded me that Butler was undefeated and had recently beaten Ohio State by 19 points… As shown in the photo below, we even stayed to the end of the Raiders game to watch the students storm the floor…
You rarely have two local area college teams that you support have great success like this on the same day (see the Yahoo headlines below). I’ll have to bask in the enjoyment of sports success.
