John Boehner, from Ohio, was just elected as Majority Leader of the US House of Representatives. Congressman Boehner (pronounced “Bay-ner”) represents the district in Southwest Ohio that lays out geographically between Dayton and Cincinnati. I actually had the opportunity to meet personally with Rep. Boehner a couple of years ago in Washington to discuss legislation affecting the aerospace and defense industry. He’s a relatively straight talking Ohioan that still loves to chain smoke cigarettes. Given the recent rash of ethical lapses in the Congress, he has some challenges squarely in front of him.
