I’m not much of a beer drinker, but I occasionally imbibe the wheat-based drink known as Hefeweizen. Evidently, there have been weather-related catastrophes that have impacted the yields of various malt and barley crops, and prices for beer are going up (not sure how that’s going to impact my ownership in Anheuser-Busch). Nevertheless, I think it’s time to stock up on my beer…
My favorite restaurant for Hefe is Gordon Biersch. The best choice for a great variety of beers is Grapes of Mirth, located at the North Market in Columbus, Ohio.
