Lefty McFadden College Hockey Tournament in Dayton

Friday night I went with five colleagues (Mark, Chris, Erol, Randy, and Joe) to catch two college hockey games at the Lefty McFadden Invitational Hockey tournament.  We arrived a little after 5:00pm at the Nutter Center for the first game between Wisconsin and Notre Dame.  As the die hard Notre Dame fan (see photo below), Joe was disappointed that the Fighting Irish lost to the Badgers, 4 to 1.  Meanwhile, the Buckeyes had a rocky start and they had to claw back with 48 shots on goal to pull-out a 2 to 1 victory against the Mercyhurst Lakers.

Ohio State plays Wisconsin on Saturday night for the tournament championship…

(I think Joe is still searching for the Amber Bock at the Nutter Center).
