Some great comments about relying too much on stereotypes:

Human beings are neither guilty nor innocent by the light of their appearance, nor by the peculiarities of their grandparents’ lives. In a truly just society, each of us would have to stand on his own merits. We are what we are.
And here we have the opposite extreme when a famous couple poses to overcome stereotypes by raising a child without gender:
Meghan has been talking to some of her friends about the birth and how she and Harry plan to raise their baby. Her exact word was ‘fluid’. She said they plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender and they won’t be imposing any stereotypes.
