An interesting article in Scientific American on the subject of “sleep debt“… It appears that most Americans sleep between 6 to 10 hours per day (I’m at the low-end of that range), and you can make up for lost sleep. Furthermore, it is believed that our genetic structure determines our sleeping patterns.
Actually, I can’t remember the last time that I slept more than 8 hours… my mom used to say that the bags under my eyes look like I’m ready to take a long trip somewhere.
