This is great input from John Tavardian where he references Charles Krauthammer’s op ed column at the Washington Post. Tarvar comments that the WaPo is left-leaning and the fact that Krauthammer is a breath of fresh air and reason. He cites one of his old columns that offered these sage words:
“…In explaining any puzzling Washington phenomenon, always choose stupidity over conspiracy, incompetence over cunning. Anything else gives them too much credit.”
