On Sunday, I attended my first Cincinnati Bengals football game in almost five years… you’ve probably read some of my previous postings and the futility of the Bengals over the last 20 years; and given their performance last week, I wasn’t very optimistic. However, Walt Wood invited me to join him for the game (see photo below taken with my Treo from our great seats).
The Bengals trounced Tennessee 35-6 and performed like champions on both offense and defense. Bengal quarterback Carson Palmer had a memorable game completing 32 of 38 passes, while Chad John had 3 touchdown receptions.
My sons have me convinced that I’m the Bengals good-luck charm, however, I will continue to maintain low expectations for the Cincy football club.
