Biggest Dot-Bomb Duds

As a former CEO of a venture-backed technology company, it is interesting to take a look back at some of the hair-brained ideas that received millions $$$ in venture capital.  In 1999, I joked with my management team that we needed to put an “i” or an “e” in front of anything and we could have a “liquidity event” (a Venture Capital euphemism for “get rich”).  My favorite concept was the eToilet company.  The Wall Street Journal has an article that summarizes some of the more interesting Internet fiascos including CyberRebate, Flooz, and iLoo.
