CNN reports that college tuition has risen an astonishing 40 percent since 2000… For those of you in a situation similar to mine — i.e., planning to send a child off to college in the next year or so — you will be interested in reading this commentary from Anne Coulter. Naturally, it is full of harsh criticism as she notes, “every time the government subsidizes college tuition through tuition tax credits, college tuition rises by the precise amount of the tuition tax credit.” But she does raise some good points about the apparent lack of market pricing for college tuition.
