Finally someone in the federal government has raised a very logical question about Covid. Some would consider this a “bombshell” question.
The US Health and Human Services Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., questioned why Fauci would need legal protection unless there was something to hide. Kennedy also asserted that “[Fauci] bears much of the responsibility for creating the COVID-19 virus,” citing gain-of-function research funding that was channeled through the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) under Fauci.
Congressional Republicans have demanded access to more documents from the Department of Health and Human Services, NIAID, and researchers’ communications at Wuhan.
However, there is still no formal Department of Justice investigation into Fauci’s role in U.S. funding for Chinese labs.
Fauci has denied any wrongdoing and maintains that his agency did not support gain-of-function research that could have led to the pandemic.
