The race for Governor of Ohio is heating up and it has even received notice on a national level from columnists such as George Will. On the Republican side, we have Ken Blackwell running against Jim Petro. At this point, I would say that I favor Blackwell just due to the fact that he appears to really believe in the principles of less government.
Incidentally, I’ve been involved previously with the Governors in the State of Ohio… The photo below shows me (I’m the handsome one on the left) in 2002 greeting Governor Taft in my office. He was making rounds meeting the CEOs of various small technology businesses to solicit input on his Third Frontier Initiative.
