I have Physical Ailment Known as 3T

If you haven’t heard of 3T disease, then you’ve most likely have had limited exposure to using a laptop computer…  3T is formally known as “Trackpad Torsional Tendinitis” and it is becoming a common ailment for us prolific laptop computer users.   It results from using the middle finger (see photo below) on the trackpad with the laptop laying on your stomach.  As shown in the second photo on the right, this acute torsional angle of holding the elbow to get to the trackpad, causes tendinitis.


The only known cure is to stop using your laptop in this position.
