The infamous President Ahmadinejad of Iran has been an enemy of the United States for over 30 years. He was one of the hostage takers at the American Embassy in 1979, and he understands terrorism and the muted responses from western nations.
Most recently, he has declared his intentions to fulfill a lifelong dream of being the mastermind for mass destruction: “The western powers created the Zionist regime in order to expand their control of the area… we will soon witness its disappearance and destruction.”
He sees the influence of the pusillanimous Democrats in the United States, and he sees the window opening for the acceptance of treacherous acts. He is banking on the fact that the Iranian launch of a nuclear missile into the heart of Israel, and the associated murder of 6 million people, will be met with condemnation — but little else (there is precedent for this acceptance of mass murder).
