As much as you have to hate Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejed, there is one nice thing about having him around — He doesn’t mince words when it comes to the ways Moslems’ think. Ahmadinejed has called on Moslem countries to mobilize against Israel and ”remove” the ”Zionist regime”. Speaking in Tehran on Saturday, at the opening of a two-day conference on security in Iraq, Ahmadinejed said: ”The basic problem in the Islamic world is the existence of the Zionist regime, and the Islamic world and the region must mobilize to remove this problem.”
Since his thinking is common amongst all of the Moslems in the Middle East, we can stop pretending that these folks are interested in Peace or that Israel’s “occupation” is the source of the problem.
