American Protestants today view America as “demonic.” The recently published “American Empire and the Commonwealth of God”, Authored by three theologians from United Methodist seminaries, with help from a liberal Jewish professor of law from Princeton, asserts that the United States is the “primary threat to the survival of the human species.”
I think you get the gist of the story… It’s a battle of the traditional Judeo-Christian theology versus the theology of feminism, ecology, and animal rights. If you don’t believe me, read it for yourself.
There are two types of Democrats today… I brand them as Old School and New School. The Old School Democrat is Franklin D. Rosovelt. The New School Democrats are Dean, Kerry, and Clinton. Technically, Lieberman is what I would consider a borderline moderate by today’s standards. I remember watching television, when the announcer announced that Lieberman’s mother would never let Joe become a Republican! Here is an interesting statement that Joe made regarding his political views, “I agree more often than not with Democrats on domestic policy. I agree more often than not with Republicans on foreign and defense policy.”
