A contribution from marathon runner, Becky Keller…
Here is a clip of my son’s race… he is a class 1 pro and luckily avoided the crash, but his buddy captured it on video here. The race was a 1 kilometer, 6 corner criterium in downtown Memphis, TN. The course was littered with potholes and glass, so tires would go flat as riders entered the next corner. 97 started and only 61 finished. Luckily he avoided the mayhem and strolled in at 46th place.
