Sudden Jihad Syndrome

Daniel Pipes writes in FrontPage Magazine about what he refers to as Sudden Jihad Syndrome. Pipes suggests that any good Moslem might someday decide the time has come for Jihad and swerve an SUV into a bunch of pedestrians “…[he] represents the ultimate Islamist nightmare: a seemingly well-adjusted Muslim whose religion inspires him, out of the blue, to murder non-Muslims… This is what I have dubbed the Sudden Jihad Syndrome, whereby normal-appearing Muslims abruptly become violent.”
