I know it sounds cliche, but the US Congress is corrupt and incompetent beyond my imagination… we have people in this country that elected Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Dennis Kucinich, Nancy Pelosi, Robert Byrd, etc. If you take 30 minutes and read about their antics (just do a Google search on any of their names), the stories come across as an Orwellian novel or a Saturday Night Live caricature. What is it about my fellow US citizens that causes them to to continue to support these fat cat, limousine liberal thieves?
One that you can add to the top of this list is Democrat John Murtha of Pennsylvania. This guy says and does things that make you stop and ponder. He recently threatened a fellow member of Congress who questioned some of his pork projects; and more recently he claimed that Moslem terrorists were planning to bomb Kennedy Airport because US troops are stationed in Iraq.
