Visit to the US Open Tennis Grand Slam Event

We visited New York over the weekend and spent 8 hours at the US Open on Saturday watching some great matches.  On Center Court, there was Federer against the hard-serving John Isner, and Rodick quickly beat the fading Thomas Johansson.  We actually had the best time watching the doubles matches on the side courts.  On Court 13, we watched the Israeli doubles team of Andy Ram and Jon Erlich man-handle their competition, and then stayed to watch the up-and-coming American, Sam Querry, play his match.  As you can see by the photos, when you watch matches on Center Court, you’re essentially watching the game from the clouds.  Meanwhile, for the matches on the side courts, you can sit in the front-row at the baseline.
