In this day and age, we’re confronted with the daily challenge of trying to determine the “Truth” — Is my friend being honest with his excuse? Did my spouse really forget to tell me about the phone call? Most importantly, are we being provided with the real story about the people who desire to be our government leaders?
I’m surprised on a daily basis about how little the mainstream media comments about the information revealed by Wikileaks. It almost appears as if they’re hiding that it even exists… This leads to a great quote from George Orwell:
“The further society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it.”
