Feb 9, 2006 – Vladimir Putin and company are playing with fire…  Since the countries that comprised the former Soviet Union have lost any significance in global politics, the Russians have decided to support rogue nations and terrorists as a way of reasserting their importance.  We’ve seen this from the support of nuclear activities in Iran, and most recently in the invitation to Hamas to “come visit us in Moscow”.  In many ways, the Russians are similar to a second-rate high school football player that’s cut from the school team.  This football player attempts to reassert his importance by helping his school’s opponents improve their chances against his former teammates.
