The United States is a unique country in many ways. For one, we have supported many countries in times of need, by providing support in fighting wars or by furnishing funds in floundering economies. We’re now spending billions of dollars in the Middle East to help promote democracy. I think it’s time that we promote our self interest. It’s time to become what the Leftists have always insisted — imperialists. It’s time to take over the old fields and stop redistributing funds to the Arab countries.
If you haven’t noticed, the little fiefdoms along the Gulf Sea haven’t starting buying up American assets, with the most recent being Abu Dhabi Arabs buying a large stake in computer chip producer, Advanced Micro Devices.
